Jakarta Education Agency to Limit Student Access to Radical Content

Jakarta Education Agency is currently drafting a policy to limit students' access to radical content on social media.

"The Education Agency is now formulating measures,"

Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung stated that the policy aims to prevent students from being influenced or inspired by radical contents, following the explosion incident at SMAN 72 in North Jakarta.

SMAN 72 Students Undergo Trauma Healing through Online Learning

"The Education Agency is now formulating measures so that not all children can easily see events or incidents like those on social media. That is what is being prepared, and when the time comes, I will definitely explain more," said Pramono after inaugurating Kampung Tanah Harapan in North Jakarta on Tuesday (11/18).

Regarding the learning process at SMAN 72, Pramono informed that it has returned to normal, although not all classes are conducted face-to-face yet.

"According to reports from the Education Agency, the learning process has run normally, but not everyone is physically present. Some students may still be attending online classes due to trauma, injuries, or other reasons," he explained.
